What an hour actually costs, from shophouse to garden villa
There are three tiers in Phuket and the gap between them is mostly the room, not the massage. Every place listed below is a real business with a name, an address and a price you can check before you go — the budget shophouse tier is explained rather than listed, because it is a format rather than a venue.
If you need a women-only room or a female therapist, ask when you book rather than when you arrive. Most places can arrange it; not all can do it on the spot.
The three tiers, and what each one costs
Budget shophouses are the open-fronted shops on every side road in Patong, Karon and the villages. Roughly 250 to 400 baht an hour, walk in, no booking. They are not listed below because they are a format rather than a business — there is no single shop to send you to, and quality varies door to door. If the first one feels wrong, walk out and try the next.
Mid-range spas are air-conditioned, have proper treatment beds and publish a price. Expect 700 to 1,500 baht an hour. Everything below except Oasis sits here, and this is the tier worth booking.
Resort spas run well past that — two-hour packages from around 2,700 baht before tax and service. You are buying the room and the garden as much as the massage.
One rule across all three: if you need a female therapist or a private room, ask when you book rather than when you arrive. Most places can arrange it; not all can do it on the spot.

A Phuket chain rather than a one-off shop — its own site lists seven branches in Phuket Town plus one at Rawai, including one on the second floor of Limelight Avenue and one at 86 Dibuk Road in the Old Town. Mid-range rather than budget: reported rates sit around 750 baht for an hour, not the 250 to 400 a street shophouse charges. Reliable and easy to find, which is the point. Book at peak times because the good therapists get taken.

02Essento Spa Bangtao
Published prices, private rooms, ten minutes from the Laguna gates.
At 7 Choeng Thale in Thalang, behind the Bang Tao hotels, and one of the few spas near Laguna that publishes a full price list rather than quoting at the door. Traditional Thai is 780 baht for an hour, 1,080 for 90 minutes and 1,380 for two hours; the four-hands treatment is 2,180 for 80 minutes and a couples package in a private suite is 3,500 for two hours. Prices exclude tax. Open daily 10.30am to 10.30pm.

Organic products and, on its own site, 4.9 from over 1,200 reviews. Two hours of Thai massage runs about 1,100 baht and two hours with oil about 1,200. Open from 10.30am to 10pm.
