The vehicle is rented to you by Jaroon Rental, Phuket. Yalla2trip sells the booking, takes the amount that holds the vehicle in your name, and handles changes. The rental contract you sign at handover is with Jaroon Rental.

An amount online, in your currency, when you book. The balance in cash, in Thai baht, to Jaroon Rental at handover. A refundable deposit in cash at handover, returned at collection if the vehicle comes back undamaged and on time. No screen shows one grand total, because there is none: the three amounts go to different people at different times.

The named driver only, aged 21 to 70 for a car and 18 to 70 for a scooter, holding a full licence for at least one year, in Latin script or accompanied by an International Driving Permit. Category A on the IDP for scooters. Jaroon Rental may refuse the handover if the licence does not match the booking; what you paid online is then refunded.

Free until the moment printed on your voucher, in Phuket time. After that, what you paid online is kept. Refunds reach your card within 5 to 10 days.

A vehicle from the same group or better, at the same price, or a full refund of what you paid online, your choice, on the day.

Covered as set out on the vehicle page: cars up to the stated excess, scooters third-party only. The deposit is the first part of any excess. Traffic fines and IDP fines are yours.

Same-to-same fuel. Unlimited mileage on the island. Returns more than two hours late are charged an extra day, in cash.
No rental company should ever ask to keep your passport as a deposit. This is a condition of our agreement with every partner, and it is a known scam in Phuket. If you are asked, refuse and contact us straight away at support@yalla2trip.com. You may be shown a passport briefly for identification — that is normal — but it stays in your hands.
